The American Legion Honors Squads in La Crosse hosted its monthly All-You-Can-Eat S.O.S. Breakfast at the Post on Sunday.
Attendees were able to enjoy the same kind of breakfast that you would typically eat at bootcamp.
According to organizers, the breakfast honors a longstanding tradition.
"S.O.S. is a military tradition which most people experience in boot camp and beyond," said member Neil Duresky. "Which is a good, healthy, filling meal for a soldier, sailor-airmen or Marine."
Money raised helps the Legion Honor Squad fund military funeral ceremonies for U.S. veterans and support community events with its Color Guard.
