The 57th annual Country Music Association Awards brought the best of the best to Tennessee.
Nashville was buzzing the night of Nov. 8 as fans anxiously awaited to discover who would be named the best performers in country music, all the while enjoying performances from Luke Bryan, Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Combs, Kenny Chesney, Post Malone and Lainey Wilson, among others.
Aside from laughing with hosts Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning throughout the show, artists also honored late performers like Jimmy Buffett and Naomi Judd in the best way they knew how: through music.

Lainey Wilson named 2023 entertainer of the year at CMA Awards
An emotional Lainey Wilson garnered her third win of the night, being named the prized entertainer of the year at the 2023 CMA Awards.
The "Heart Like a Truck" singer appeared to hold back years talking about the "wild ride" of making a career in country music.
"This is all I've wanted to do. This is the only thing I know how to do," Wilson said during her acceptance speech.
She added upon her win, "It finally feels like country music is starting to love me back. I love it with my whole heart."
Wilson had some stiff competition for the coveted title, competing against Luke Combs, Chris Stapleton, Carrie Underwood and Morgan Wallen.
Chris Stapleton wins male vocalist of the year
Chris Stapleton took home the CMA Award for best male vocalist of the year Wednesday night.
"I won a couple of these and I’m always shocked when I win one," he said, thanking his wife, Morgane Stapleton, and saying he wouldn't be where he's at now without her.
Stapleton was up against fellow male nominees Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, Jelly Roll and Cody Johnson.
Tanya Tucker bring audience to their feet with legendary performance
There wasn't a country fan in their seat during the iconic Tanya Tucker performance of "Delta Dawn."
Little Big Town first opened the song with a harmonization of a portion of the 1972 hit, which turned Tucker into a star at the age of 13. According to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, the song reached No. 6 on the country charts at the time.
