Is The Nightmare Before Christmas Celebrating 30 Years?

Yes, The Nightmare Before Christmas celebrated its 30th anniversary on October 13, 2023. The film, directed by Henry Selick and produced by Tim Burton, was not a smash hit upon its release, but has become something of a holiday classic over the years.

The iconic Halloween and partly Christmas Disney movie returned to theaters nationwide for a limited time. You can also honor the 30th anniversary with the 30th Anniversary 1000-Piece Puzzle ($24.99), featuring The Pumpkin King, Zero and lurking bats. Or decorate your homes this Halloween with the Giant-Sized Animated Jack Skellington ($399).
Tim Burton recently shut down any hope for a sequel to the movie. He refused to make a sequel in order to preserve the purity and integrity of the original film, and was not interested in the unimaginative CGI approach proposed by Disney.
