HOLMEN, Wis. (WXOW) - Holmen High School held a Spring Fling Dance for special education students in and around the Holmen School District.
14 different schools attended the spring dance.
The dance was organized by Project Bridge, Project Live, and Ace Academy.
The event included various activities, including a photo booth, face painting, and of course, dancing.
Lynne Wilson, a Special Education Transition Teacher in Holmen shared more about why this event is held.
"We like to be able to have the students interact with their peers from both the regular Ed classes here at the high school and all of their peers that they know and they see from different events, like Special Olympics and Adaptive Sports Leagues. They get to hang out with them during the day and just have a good time..." Wilson said.
