La Crosse Co. Highway Dept. extending Hwy 16 bike trail, building West Salem pedestrian bridge

 

The La Crosse County Highway Department is extending a bike trail down a major highway.

The trail by the Onalaska Kwik Trip near Kinney Coulee Road will extend down to the Habitat ReStore.

The department is also going to start work on a bike and pedestrian bridge at Veterans Park in West Salem.

Construction on that project is set to begin Monday.
