HOUSTON, Minn.
The International Owl Center in Houston, Minnesota is holding a special no charge Sunday for area residents.
The Owl Center is inviting residents of Trempealeau, Vernon and La Crosse counties (including college students) to visit free of charge tomorrow, February 4.
This is the only all-owl education center in the United States. Four live ambassador owls are currently at the center, including the Great Horned Owl, American Barn Owl, Eastern Screech-Owl and Burrowing Owl. These resident owls bring learning to life, and visitors can also find art, sculptures, and cultural items from around the world.
The Owl Center is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays. Regular admission is $9 for adults, $8 for seniors/veterans/military, $6 for ages 4-17 and children under 3 and members are free.
