With a historic solar storm sweeping over the globe on Friday and Saturday, many looked skyward to catch a glimpse of the light displays known as aurorae, commonly called the Northern Lights in areas above the equator.
Here in the Coulee Region, viewers shared their best pictures of the rare phenomenon with WKBT meteorologist Bill Graul.
Those who missed the Northern Lights on Friday may have a second chance to see them Saturday night, with the show set to continue in much of the continental United States, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
Peak visibility will be between 9 pm and midnight.
This is a once in a lifetime even to see this, but it has already happened, so hopefully you had a chance to see it.
